Amazon must haves
This list is the 10 Amazon must haves I stand by and have used personally some for years.
SH$$ I Like is simply put products I use and recommend
So, SH$$ I like is simply all of the picks that I have personally used or currently use and stand behind 100%. No fluff, no bullsh$$, I actually use these products.
So, if you’re here You are curious as to what products I recommend. All of these products I have used and/or currently use. I don’t believe in promoting products I myself have not used, so you know you’re getting a good deal from me. First let’s start with the obvious Kitchen Items or anything that has to do with food, kitchen, meal prepping, etc… Here are 10 things/items I simply cannot live without.

First and Foremost I want to let you know that I have tried 3 different Instant pots. The first one was a Crock Pot Instant pot..I know that sounds confusing right LOL. It was the Crock Pot brand, their version of the Instant pot. I liked this at first, I really did because I love Crock Pot brand. But, It was very difficult to find recipes for this certain Instant pot. Plus, it was a little confusing if I’m being honest.
So, the next one I got was the Instant pot brand and I loved it…at first…then it broke! It was the 6-in 1 and it did the job, but after about 2 months of using it sparingly might I add, the thing wouldn’t pressurize! Come to find out this certain instant pot was recalled due to the pressurization issue. It was only a few ones with a certain manufacturing number and I was one of the un-lucky ones.
So, I threw that one out and extensively researched Instant Pots and decided to buy this 6 quart 9-in-1 Instant pot. I’ve been using this one for over 3 years now and it hasn’t failed me yet! Might I add that we use this Instant pot at least twice a week and have been for the past year and a half! Now you know why I had to start off this 10 Amazon must haves list with my instant pot!
My next Item that I simply cannot do without and I mean this because I tried freezer meal planning without it one day. (Epic fail) Are these amazing Hands free Ziploc bag holders! These little suckers have saved my life I tell you! Right now I only have 2, but I have been thinking about adding 2 more because when I freezer meal prep I usually have 4 meals going at once. (I’m a little extra I know lol) I have to have these they are on any essential products list and definitely on my Amazon must haves list.
Another Kitchen Item that I have started using to start being more green are these amazing reusable silicone Ziploc bags! I actually started out with a different brand, but after using them a couple of times they started to not close easily. So, I started using THESE amazing ones and Boy, they are so simple to use and they stand up as well! I had to put these in this 10 essential products list because they are my absolute favorite and they help save the planet..win/win.
Speaking of Going Green, these Bamboo Paper towels have not only saved the Earth, but also saved me a Ton of Green! Yes people they have saved me a Ton of Money. I was purchasing the Huge packs of Bounty paper towels at least twice a month at $15.99 a pack (that was when they were on sale) These Bamboo paper towels last me a whole month and are only $8.99!! That’s a savings of $14 a month, $168 a Year!!!
Ok, so since I’m on a green kick here’s the next thing I have purchased for my Amazon must haves list and they have come in quite handy! They’re mesh produce bags. Not only do you shop with them, you can use them to store your produce like potatoes and onions in them in your pantry or cabinet.
Here’s a kitchen item that I have but I haven’t used much just because, well it takes some time to do but when I have used it it has produced amazing dried foods! Here’s a food dehydrator that I recommend highly! Not only does it work fabulously it looks cool too lol.
Ok, so I get asked a lot about what pots and pans I use the most. I LOVE this pots and pan set called THE ROCK! I’ve been using these for a little over 2 years as well and one of the things I love most about them are that they are Super Easy to clean, they’re lightweight and they’re black lol. I’ve had all kinds of brand name pots and pans- Paula Dean ones, Emeril ones(I actually hated these ones and threw them away), Tfal (which is my second fav) but none compare to these. If you are into cast iron ( I am sometimes) Here is a GREAT Cast Iron set that will last you a lifetime.
Another pot I use All the Time and it was a gift from my dad and Bonus mom is The Lodge Pot! This one here is sooooo amazing! It’s really heavy because it’s cast iron coated in porcelain. You can literally cook just about anything in this one pot. This blue one is my favorite color. I believe they come in 2 other colors but I’m not sure. If I had to pick one item to cook with for the rest of my life Besides my instant pot, it would be this one!
Next on the list is Strainers, but not just any strainers, collapsible strainers! I have found these to be very sturdy and they don’t take up much room like your typical strainer. Therefore saving space! and living in Japan we need all the space we can get in our kitchens.
Oh, so If you want to read about all the Green products I use Head on over here to my post! This is definitely SH$$ I like, hey it’s great for the environment! So, do yourself and the world a favor and Click on that post.
For the spices that you should ALWAYS have on hand and that I have, you can read all about them on my post HERE. I hope you’re enjoying this Amazon must haves list so far, almost done.
Last, it’s sort of a bonus because well it’s not a necessary per say but I have found it to make my life so much easier. We bought this back in March and have used it every single day since then. It’s our Shark Ninja RV750. Yes, it’s our version of a Roomba. I did a lot of research on which robot vacuum to go with and came to the conclusion that This one was the best for our family. It had amazing ratings, easy set up, wifi enabled, has an app, and it was way cheaper than the Roomba ones.
So far, it has saved my back from utter turmoil. Oh, I should add we have a big dog that sheds A LOT and this things gets up all his hair NO problem! So it’s a no brainer why this made the 10 Amazon must haves list.
Ok guys and gals we are at the end of our Amazon must haves list, I will be sure to update it whenever I find more items that you may like but I will make sure to try them first of course! Thanks for reading!

Wow what a lovely list Felicia! I appreciate that you only share and promote products that you actually adore and love using yourself. I really struggle with kids friendly recipes because my son is a fussy eater. I will have to try more recipes from your blog as i have seen a difference in my son’s eating habits when i try to cook something new. Your blog has helped me a lot in this direction. Oh and the shark robit vacuum cleaner sounds very useful.
You really don’t know how much your comment means to me. The biggest thing I really aspire to do with my blog is to help mammas/people like you with picky eaters enjoy food and enjoy cooking and want to try new things. All of my meals are tested by my own children so it really warms my heart for you to say that. Thank you ☺️
Wow, Felicia, what a fascinating list. I love that you only review and promote products you actually use. That really makes a difference. I have NONE of these things in my house (mainly because I’m not much of a cook) and the one that appeals to me most, I have to say, is your Shark Ninja Robot vacuum cleaner! What fun! I’m sure I would be clueless in learning to operate it but my hubby and son would have a blast – they luuurve gadgets.
Hi Lauren,
The Shark Ninja Robot vacuum is actually one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It has saved me so much time especially with my dog because he sheds so much lol. Believe me if you do anything for yourself this year get that!
I’ll have to save up for it. Our dustbuster just packed up. 😉
The food dehydrator may be something I could use for my kitchen.Unripe mangoes when dehydrated can be stored for long then .I was infact looking for one and this was just in time for some good shopping this season.
I love things that make cooking easy and simple for me. And, I love it if the other things I use in my kitchen are re-usable. These reduce that much of plastic waste from my home.
I loved the list of items you use and have shared. Most of all I liked the ZIploc bags and holders. We all could do with these, right?
Love all the reusable and ecological items on your list! And I use my instapot at least 3-4 times a week. Love it!!
I think I need to go shopping and overhaul my kitchen with all these cool items! I don’t have an instant pot but would love one. I currently only use a slow cooker but only in winter. I’ve heard of those hands free bag holders and I’m so keen to get some especially for my baking prep when I make pre-mixes. Thanks for sharing your faves, Felicia!
Hi Felicia! What we usually do is just cook in a normal pot, but we also have a crock pot and a slowcooker – I love the crockpot and its so easy and super fast!
Yes! Leana I love my crock pot setting on my instapot! I used to have a couple of slow cookers but got rid of them and now I just use the slow cook feature on my instapot 😉
Thanks for all these fantastic tips Felicia. I really want to buy myself an Instapot but didn’t know where to start so your experience is really helpful!
I love the re-usable bags and the fact that they stand up. We should all be buying re-usable products and staying far away from the one use plastics and packaging!
I haven’t used many Amazon products but now I am inspired to upgrade my Kitchen items. Thank you for these wonderful list of products. I love reviews when they are not sponsored and are based on experience.
i got a pot from Adi’s like the insta pot but don’t use it very much since my husband wants fried food. I never heard of the hand free baggies . I need to check them out.
The queen of my kitchen is my pressure cooker. I think of her as my best friend because she makes cooking so easy. I literally fill it, shut it, and fifteen minutes later, all I have to do is bring it together and my meal is ready. I’ve been reading a lot about insta pots but they’re kind of expensive in India right now. Thank you for all your recos, Felicia!
