Chicken teriyaki (I know everyone has this one but mine is a bit different 😉 )
I like my recipes simple and usually homemade but sometimes I like to take shortcuts like this chicken teriyaki recipe. Yes, you can always make your own teriyaki sauce but you can also buy this really yummy teriyaki sauce at pretty much any grocery store.
Just place 1 bottle of teriyaki sauce with about 4 cups of rotisserie chicken into your Instant Pot, you can add diced onions if you want. Place lid on and set manuel high for 5 mins.
Let pressure natural release for about 10 mins then quick release to let out rest of pressure.
Leaving the lid off set the instant pot to saute
Next whisk together 3 tbsp of cornstarch and 3 tbsp water in a small bowl.
When teriyaki mixture is boiling, Whisk cornstarch mixture into instant pot and then let rest for about 5 mins to thicken.
Cancel the saute function and serve over rice or with mixed veggies!
