Pizza
It’s September!! For some it’s the beginning of Fall already; here it’s still very hot but I hope soon it will get cooler because I love fall. It is my favorite time of year. In honor of one of my favorite holidays I’ve rounded up some Simple Halloween themed dinners for you and the family or if you wanted to throw a Halloween party! I’ve got you covered. This first recipe comes from Taste of home and is a fun recipe that you can serve on a family dinner night or at a festive Halloween themed party! Even people who don’t care for veggies will Love this Pizza because it looks so fun!
Mac-n-cheese Anyone?
This next idea can be used for just about anything! You use a pumpkin to cook/serve food in, like this mac n cheese! I don’t have any pictures yet of the Mac n cheese in the pumpkin but here’s a picture of my mac and cheese that I love to make every holiday, not just Halloween Dinners!
What other simple ways do you think you can serve this pumpkin? Maybe some good ole chicken and noodle soup? Oooooh or broccoli and cheese soup!? That’s my favorite soup by the way..sooo yummy! Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know how you would use the pumpkin!
If you like cute and easy Halloween dinners that everyone can enjoy check out these cute Jack o’ lantern stuffed peppers! One of the best things about this recipe besides that it’s super easy and quick is that you can add pretty much anything you want in the peppers. I love versatility if you can’t tell by the last two recipes.
If you have any ideas for this pepper recipe, please let me know in the comments! You never know, I may show case it in my next blog post!
The next dinner idea is more of a side recipe, but I had to put it on this list because no only does it have my two favorite things- Potatoes and cheese, it doesn’t require any special gadgets or special skills of any kind! So, it really fits the theme of Simple here! It uses sour cream and a ziploc bag to create this amazing cute but spooky design
Loaded Mashed Potatoes the super easy kind.
The last Halloween dinners idea that I have, well I think it’s the best of all five. I know I like to save the best for last. I believe in that saying, so without further ado, the easiest but spookiest recipe for Halloween dinners must be this Spooky Halloween Spaghetti! I chose this recipe because we always have spaghetti! It is our go to meal when we can’t think of anything to eat LOL . The reason it is so special is because it uses this Crazy Spooky Cool Dye to make the noodles Black!
Black Spaghetti?!
It’s so easy to make the noodles black and you can add olives to make it seem spookier if you like olives. Just make your spaghetti how you usually make it and add in this black dye! I’m for sure going to be making this come Halloween Eve! We always have pizza delivered for Halloween night ,it’s sort of a tradition well because we are all wiped out from trick or treating and partying…kids’ parties that is. I couldn’t leave this Halloween dinners post without mentioning this recipe.
Alright folks, that’s it for the Halloween dinners portion! Make sure to check back next week when I post 5 Easy but delicious Halloween dessert ideas! Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance.
I must say you’ve done a excellent job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads super fast for me on Safari.
Excellent Blog!
My brother recommended I might like this website.

Hi Rochelle,
Thank you for the great feedback! Yes I use blogberg theme with wordpress.org. It is a new theme and not a lot of people use it yet but I really love it and love the way it looks. I’ve only been blogging since July/August of 2019 so I don’t know much about themes but I do know that when a blogger is starting out they can’t afford themes so this one is free and I think it’s amazing for free!

Oh my word black spaghetti – my kids would LOVE that since spaghetti is their favourite food! We’ve never really celebrated Halloween since it isn’t really big here in South Africa but since reading all your awesome Halloween meals posts I’m starting to think I will need to start celebrating it!
Sometimes we just have a party to celebrate! hehe we get dressed up and have lots of fun food. Other times we have a block party with our neighborhood and sometimes we just trick or treat lol. I always ask the kids what they want to do that year. This year I have the 2yr old so we may do trick or treating and a small party for the family.
I’m not sure how I feel about a spider on my dinner. Haha! I love the sound of the stuffed bell peppers. It sounds absolutely delicious. I think I’ve gotta give them a try.
Halloween recipes are so much fun! So much scope for creativity with our regular recipes. And kids enjoy taking part too, don’t they? The stuffed peppers sounds good. I love peppers!
Stuffed bell peppers, what a lovely idea! Halloween is around the corner and peppers are nice and healthy and bonus 3 colours to choose from! ?
Fun Halloween recipe ideas, I bet the whole family will enjoy them!
We love stuffed peppers because you can make them spicy one night, and more like a pizza another night! Those loaded mashed potatoes sound amazing! I’m a carb addict!
I’ve bookmarked this, thank you. I will be sure to be using your suggestions this Halloween
