Are you just as lost as I was about SEO? Heck, I didn’t even know what SEO stood for until a month after I made a blog! If you were lost like I was SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. SEO is crucial for your blog business. Let’s be honest, no one makes a blog to NOT make money or for people NOT to read it, am I right?
If you want people to see your blog, they must find it first. One of the first SEO tips is probably the most crucial is that Google is the number one search engine and has been for years and will probably be the number one for years to come. So, in order to get your blog out there go to Google and do your own searches on your niche.
The second SEO tips is that Pinterest is actually the second largest search engine, yes Pinterest isn’t a social media platform, it is a search engine. You should be using Pinterest every day to help people see your blog. You know how google optimizes their search results? Through Search Engine Optimization! Search Engine Optimization is getting your site to pop up on the search engine bar and on that first page when people are searching for something. Rarely people go past the first page when searching for a specific thing, at least I know I don’t. Unless it’s an airfare I rarely go past the first page when googling something.
My good friend Lynne gives us 5 tools that will not only help your blog but will help with SEO. I currently use 4/5 and am looking into the last one! That is another one of the SEO tips- find a reputable, good blogging group to be a part of, whether it’s the two I am a part of or a Facebook group. Don’t overwhelm yourself by joining a lot of them just a few Good ones and you’re set!

SEO is extremely important. But they are always changing things so it is really hard to stay on point. But one thing has always stayed the same – engagement. No matter how much they change the SEO game, if you write good posts/articles and have followers that like to engage you are one step closer to winning.
SEO is intimidating and complicated to even experts as the algorithms keep on changing. Also, SEO is an ongoing activity. I used to stress over it initially but realized the best thing to do is learn. The process is enjoyable! So happy to see the shoutout to Lady Bloggers, Felicia!
