I am a part of a few instant pot Facebook groups and surprisingly one of the number one thing that people have a hard time cooking in the instant pot is RICE… I didn’t really understand it and I was thinking “rice really? That’s so easy right?” Until I tried it myself and boy did it take a lot of trial and error to get the times and amounts to a perfect setting.
I thought about giving up because I had already mastered it on our stove, well, mostly right? But I stuck at it because I love my instant pot and anything that I can cook in it I will try. Also, because I don’t have to worry about the water over boiling on the stove and I didn’t have to baby it. That was the main reason because “ain’t nobody got time for that!” Especially with a toddler on the loose and boy she keeps me on my toes!
If you are in the market for an instant pot my readers and I strongly suggest this one and if you can find it under $100 you have got yourself a STEAL! - Too watery means your rice is under cooked

If you follow this recipe to a tee you shouldn’t have any of these problems. Usually when I make rice on the stove, and sometimes in my rice cooker (that takes 30 minutes) I usually end up with mushy rice. Sometimes I can get it almost perfect but why risk it when I can do it in my instant pot now and it turns out perfect every single time?

Your recipe sounds really easy as 1-2-3. And I do know people struggle to cook brown rice over the stove. Takes ages and no guarantees of the perfect cooked grain! Thanks for the tips, Felicia!
