Did you know you could cook Succulent Ribs in a Slow cooker? Me neither….Until I came across this recipe on Pinterest and decided to give it a try and I tweaked it a little to my liking. We all Love Ribs in our household but don’t always have the time to cook them or don’t want to grill them.. Or it’s in the middle of winter and well we can’t really use our grill. Here lately it’s been raining cats and dogs so we haven’t been able to use our new Grill.
I always thought that if I did cook them differently (other than the grill) they wouldn’t be as good. Nope! I now have four different recipes for ribs: One for the grill, one for smoking, one for the slow cooker, and my newest is the Instant pot! Today, we are only featuring the Slow cooker ribs recipe, but stay tuned for the others. If you know me, you know I like to have different versions of one thing. I like to experiment with different flavors and cooking versions.

The main side we eat with these ribs are Spicy Korean Bean Sprouts and they’re just as easy to make as these ribs! We hardly ever make these ribs without this specific side dish. As always we eat white or brown rice with it as well. I think the rice with the sprouts combination makes this meal.

My family loves ribs too. I usually only make them on the grill or in the fernice, but this recipe sound great too.
I absolutely love ribs and I am also in love with my slow cooker but I have not yet tried making ribs in my slow cooker. I was at my mother a while back and she made ribs in her slow cooker and it was fantastic. She bought her slow cooker after I raved about mine and she has not looked back. Thanks for this lovely recipe, I will be sure to give it a go.
Me and husband are going to braai tomorrow but now you are giving me another idea! Yummy! ?
I am vegetarian, Felicia. But I know that the slow cooker can be used to make a number of delicious vegetarian dishes too! I will pass on this recipe to my friend, who enjoys cooking! Congratulations again on launching your shop!
